Bob Pfahnl founded asplus
in 1988 after extensive experience in public accounting and private
industry. After many years performing audits and preparing tax returns
at the family CPA firm, Bob served as controller and CFO for four local
private firms in engineering, construction, real estate brokerage, and
property management. Bob implemented and managed several computer
business systems including minicomputer and microcomputer installations.
In each case, the focus of these systems was operational integration
with accounting and administrative function. Bob has also performed
consulting services on a variety of accounting software packages.
Bill Pfahnl joined asplus
in 1994, bring to the firm experience in system creation, implementation
and management. Having performed database design services for some of
Silicon Valleys most renowned firms, Bill assists clients with system
integration, data import and export, custom report writing, and
technical support. Having established his own graphic design firm in
1990, Bill provides valuable client services on both PC and Macintosh
platforms. Bill is a Certified Peachtree-MAS90 Conversion Specialist,
Certified Support Specialist, and a Certified Trainer.

Dan Burleson joined asplus in 1999 bringing
with him 15 years of professional software experience and 12 years
recent business experience. Dan holds a MCSE and has a background
in software quality control, product development and accounting
software support. Having used Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 for 10 years in
his own business gives Dan insight that translates to added value
for asplus clients. Dan possesses exceptional skills in Crystal
Reports creation and distribution. His intimate knowledge and experience
in data file structures means asplus clients benefit from
the powerful reporting capabilities in Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200
Jan Cozart joined the asplus team to
provide expertise on the Abra human resources and payroll applications
from Sage Software. Since 1990 her company, Cozart Consulting Group,
has provided software and services to human resources and payroll
professionals seeking to streamline their operation. In addition
to running her business, Jan has served as a part-time professor
as well as guest lecturer for the College of Business at San Jose
State University in San Jose, California on the subject of human
resources information systems.
Sheila Brown brings over 15 years accounting
and systems experience to asplus. After four years in
the audit practice of Deloitte and Touche, Sheila performed
accounting systems consulting and training services to clients ranging
from small business to multi-national corporations. For the past
five years, Sheila has specialized in Sage FAS Fixed Asset Accounting
implementation and training.
Lloyd Kurzweil's expertise in the FRx Reporting
product and effective teaching style is widely recognized in the
field of financial systems. He has been an Authorized Training Center
for FRx since 1997. Along with over 25 years of experience in accounting
and systems implementations, Lloyd is also a CPA and MBA. He has
supported a diverse list of companies and has been a part-time controller
for several start-up high-tech companies. Prior to becoming a consultant,
Lloyd worked at Genentech for eight years and was responsible for
implementing their first in-house accounting systems. Lloyd has
also taught accounting systems at the University of San Francisco.
Khoa Bui-Dang provides Business Advisory
Services to clients that require part-time CFO and Controller duties.
Khoa's international and distribution business experience combined
with large and small company management roles offers clients a wealth
of services. From financial strategy to cash flow management, budgeting
and forecasting to foreign currency, to product movement analysis
and supply chain management, Khoa's proven track record of success
and leadership augments clients' executive management team.
